Welcome to Desert Side Tracs 4x4 Club
Are you an Off-Roader living or visiting the Southern California Mojave Desert area? You have come to the right place. You will find information on our club, up-coming runs and safety requirements.
Our Club
We are based out of the Coachella Valley, near Palm Springs, California. Desert Side Tracs is a family-orientated 4x4 club dedicated to the enjoyment and preservation of 4 wheeling. Our Southern California desert region is surrounded by five mountain ranges near Palm Springs. It includes Joshua Tree National Park, a National Monument, a National Forest, and BLM lands. For our monthly club trail runs, from high mountains to low deserts, these areas furnish endless opportunities of enchanting, historically rich and challenging 4 wheeling experiences. Convenient access to such varied terrain means snow, or rocks, or sand under our wheels.
Our club is affiliated with the California Association of 4 Wheel Drive Club, Blue Ribbon Coalition, CORVA, etc.
Meeting Location
We invite you to come out to our monthly meetings, here we discuss what is happening in our off road community and schedule up coming events. Currently we meet on the second Tuesday of each month, 7:00 pm., at the Denney's restaurant in Thousand Palms just north of I-10 at the Ramon Road exit. Cross streets, Ramon Rd and Varner Rd next to the Chevron.
We Are Volunteers
The Desert Side Tracs is a group that volunteers to maintain and clean up an "Adopt A Trail" located east of Coachella Valley off I-10 at Ciraco Summit. The Red Canyon trail runs from I-10 to the Bradshaw Trail.
